A rich, moist pistachio cake made from boxed mix with homemade upgrades like butter, milk, and instant pudding.
Ingredients
1 box pistachio cake mix (15.25 oz)
1 package instant pistachio pudding mix (3.4 oz)
3 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup chopped pistachios
Powdered sugar or whipped topping for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease pans.
2. Combine cake mix and pudding mix.
3. Add eggs, milk, butter, and almond extract. Beat until smooth.
4. Fold in chopped pistachios.
5. Pour into pans and bake 30–35 minutes.
6. Cool completely and garnish before serving.
Notes
